- Sourcing of new suppliers and best prices- Developing suppliers together with other departments- Ensuring best prices, delivery terms, payment terms and quality by well negotiating with suppliers- Ensuring all necessary shipping information from suppliers/forwarders (Logistics)- Ensuring arrival of material according to schedule- Obtaining clearing release from shipping agent through clearing agent (Logistic)- Maintaining the Purchasing DataBase (Epicor and others) (information up to date)- Follow up on payments with Accounts to all Vendors- Continuously keeping the MSDS & TDS updated and ensuring proper distribution to concerned parties- Sourcing and negotiating with service providers and contractors- Maintaining local services and contracts (ensure proper performance of second party)
