- We’re looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting and finance, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.Duties:- Implement, maintain, and evaluate financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other accounting processes- Assist in financial analysis and decision making- Maintain financial data records- Prepare spreadsheets and reports using accounting software- Prepare monthly financial reports- Prepare journal entries- Research and resolve accounting issues- Maintain confidentialityResponsibilities:- Provide support to the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, and cash management teams- Calculate inventory corrections, assist purchasing with purchase orders, supply reconciliation, and reclassify items for accurate reporting- Record journal entries, prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, and process payroll preparation- Assist in monthly and quarterly closing procedures- Prepare bank reconciliation statements and process bank deposits- Coordinate and assist with audits as needed- Process accounts payable invoices and process vendor payments- Process payroll for full time staff- Process payroll for part-time and temporary staff
